Summary of Specifications:
The work specified in this bid consists of furnishing all labor, machinery, tools, means of transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, services necessary for the construction of a wave cane barrier at City Hall in accordance with Drawing PK-2003. Please contact the Procurement Division at 305-673-7490 to request of the Drawings. The General Contractor and/or Sub-Contractors must have required licenses in order to obtain all required permits for the completion of the project. Permits required for this project include, but are not limited to: building, electrical, structural, plumbing, fire and ADA. Miminum Requirements: Prospective Bidder must hold a General Contractor License, have a minimum of 5 years experience in commercial masonry projects, and provide at least four (4) separate references for projects completed, of which each project total cost was fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or higher in construction work.
A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. on February 5th, 2004 at the City Hall 1st Floor Conference Room, located on 1700 Convention Center Drive.
Attendance at the Prebid Conference is highly encouraged and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory.
Bid Guaranty: A Bid Guaranty is not required, however the successful Bidder executing the Contract will be required to provide the Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, and evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) calendar days after notification of award of the Contract.
