Summary of Specifications:
The City of Miami Beach (the City) seeks to solicit responses from qualified proposers for the operation and management of food and beverage concessions in Flamingo Park Pool and Normandy Isle Park Pool. The City will grant to the successful Proposer(s) the exclusive right, during the term of the agreement(s), to manage and operate food and beverage concessions at one or both of the existing concession facilities located at Flamingo Park Pool and Normandy Isle Park Pool. It should be noted that the two (2) concession facilities identified above are being made available in their present "AS IS" “WHERE IS” condition. Proposals involving one or both of these concession facilities should include a detailed estimate of all interior and exterior improvements to the concession facilities reasonably necessary for the successful Proposer(s) to operate such facilities for the intended uses defined in the RFP. It should further be noted that all such improvements to the concession facilities shall be performed at the sole cost and expense of the successful Proposer(s). Moreover, any permitted construction shall be accomplished through the use of licensed, reputable contractors who are acceptable to the City. Any and all permits and or licenses required for the installation of improvements shall also be the sole cost and responsibility of successful Proposer(s). The successful Proposer(s) will be authorized to conduct the following kinds of business(es) at the concession facilities: Permitted Uses: Operate and manage the concession facilities, to provide, prepare, and/or sell the following: • Non-alcoholic beverages, • Prepared and/or pre-packaged foods, • Sundries, generally including, but not limited to suncare products, hats, swim goggles, fins and floatation equipment
