Invitation to Bid No Sealed bids will be received by the City of Miami Beach Procurement Division, 3rd Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139, until 3:00 p.m. on April 21, 2009 for:
FOR THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF POLYMER METER BOXES AND COVERS ITB # 14-08/09
At time, date, and place above, bids will be publicly opened. Any bids or bids received after time and date specified will be returned to the bidder unopened. The responsibility for submitting a bid/bid before the stated time and date is solely and strictly the responsibility of the bidder/proposer. The City is not responsible for delays caused by mail, courier service, including U.S. Mail, or any other occurrence.
Purpose: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, for the purchase and delivery of polymer meter boxes and covers for the City of Miami Beach Public Works Department. The Bid price shall include the cost for transportation/freight for miscellaneous sizes of Polymer Meter Boxes and Covers or comparable equals. This contract shall remain in effect for two (2) years from date of contract execution by the Mayor and City Clerk, and may be renewed by mutual agreement for two (2) additional years, on a year to year basis.
A Pre-bid conference will be held on April 7, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Manager’s Small Conference Room, 4th Floor, City Hall, and 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Attendance (in person or via telephone) to this Pre-bid meeting is encouraged and recommended as a source of information, but is not mandatory.
