Summary of Specifications:
Purpose: The purpose of this Invitation to Bid is for the purchase and installation of fire alerting systems for the four City’s (4) fire stations and one (1) dispatch system at the Police Department. This contract shall remain in effect for two (2) years after date of contract execution by the Mayor and City Clerk, and may be renewed by mutual agreement for two (2) additional years, on year to year basis. A pre-bid conference will be held on October 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Miami Beach City Hall, 4th Floor, and City Manager’s Small Conference Room, located at 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach Florida 33139. In conjunction with the pre-bid a site visit is also scheduled. Attendance at the site visit/pre-bid conference is highly encouraged and recommended as a source of information but is not mandatory.
