Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Miami Beach (City), Procurement Division, Fourth Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, 33139, until 3:00 p.m. on October 2, 2003 for:
INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (IMS) FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH
At time, date, and place above, proposals will be publicly opened. ANY PROPOSAL RECEIVED AFTER TIME AND DATE SPECIFIED WILL BE RETURNED TO THE PROPOSER UNOPENED.
Scope of Services:
The City of Miami Beach Public Works Department is soliciting from consultant(s) to provide a suite of integrated software products for a comprehensive infrastructure management system. The infrastructure management system must interface with a Geographical Information System (GIS) architecture and software. A GIS implementation study has been completed, which provides a plan of action and a timeline for the implementation of a GIS system within the Public Works Department. The GIS System being developed will also be available to other city Departments. This project also will require the conversion and data development of databases for the Water System, Sanitary Sewer System, Stormwater System, Streets (pavement, sidewalks,curb and gutter), Streetlighting System. The City of Miami Beach has contracted with BidNet and has begun utilizing a new central bid notification system created exclusively for state and local agencies located in South Florida.
