Summary of Specifications:
Sealed bids will be received by the City of Miami Beach Procurement Director, 3rd Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139, until 3:00 p.m. on June 29, 2012. ANY BIDS RECEIVED AFTER 3:00 PM ON JUNE 29, 2012, WILL BE RETURNED TO THE BIDDER UNOPENED, AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUBMITTING BIDS BEFORE THE STATED TIME AND DATE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER. PURPOSE: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, for qualified vendor(s) for the supply of all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to provide street lighting maintenance for State roads within the limits of Miami Beach, on an as needed basis. TERM: The contract(s) entered into with the successful bidder(s) will have an initiated term of one (1) year, and may be renewed at the sole discretion of the City, through its City Manager, for three (3) additional one (1) year terms. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Prospective bidders must have been in business for a minimum of three (3) years. In addition, prospective bidders must submit with their bids three (3) references which represent established business relationships of two (2) or more years in the provision of street light maintenance for cities, counties, states, or large malls. Bidders are required to submit their equipment inventory with the bid.
