Sealed bids will be received by the City of Miami Beach Procurement Director, 3rd Floor, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139, until 3:00 p.m. on July 17, 2008 for:
PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF STORAGE CONTAINERS
Purpose: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, with a qualified vendor for the supply and delivery of storage containers, on an as needed basis. The immediate initial purchase is anticipated to be four (4) units. This contract shall remain in effect for one (1) year from date of contract execution by the Mayor and City Clerk, and may be renewed at the sole discretion of the City, for two (2) additional years, on a year to year basis, providing the successful bidder will agree to maintain the same terms and conditions of the current contract. A Pre-bid conference will be held on June 24, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the City Manager’s Small Conference Room, 4th Floor, City Hall, and 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139. Any questions or clarifications concerning this Bid shall be submitted in writing by mail or facsimile to the Procurement Division, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, FL 33139, or FAX: (786) 394-4000. The Bid title/number shall be referenced on all correspondence. All questions must be received no later than ten (10) calendar days prior to the scheduled Bid opening date. All responses to questions/clarifications will be sent to all prospective bidders in the form of an addendum.
