Summary of Specifications:
The ice resurfacer will be utilized at the Scott Rakow Youth Center Ice Rink, which is an oval measuring 127’ long and 65’ wide. This equipment will be used on a daily basis to resurface the ice rink for public open skating, figure skating, private and group skating lessons, and hockey. The award pursuant to this ITB is contingent upon a successful demonstration of the machine at the Scott Rakow Ice Rink. Demonstration shall include, but not be limited to: turning radius; ability to closely resurface to the corners of the existing ice rink; and ability to fit through the rink entrance-way, which measures 101” in width. The City is offering as a trade-in one (1) 1997 Zamboni Model 440 (photos are available).
