Summary of Specifications:
Purpose: The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract, by means of sealed bids, to a qualified vendor for the rental of construction equipment for various Departments throughout the City, as specified herein. This contract shall remain in effect for one (1) year from date of contract execution by the Mayor and City Clerk. this contract may be extended at the sole discretion of the City, through its City Manager, for three (3) additional one (1) year terms, if mutually agreed upon by both parties.
Minimum Requirements: Prospective bidders must have been in business for a minimum of 3 years. Bidders must provide 24 hour service in case of an emergency.
A Pre-bid conference will be held on March 15, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the City of Miami Beach, City Hall, 4th Floor, City Manager’s Conference Room, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida. Attendance (in person or via telephone) to this Pre-bid meeting is encouraged and recommended as a source of information, but is not mandatory.
