Summary of Specifications:
The intent of this RFP is to award a valet parking Concession Agreement (“Agreement”) for the operation of valet parking services at the Jackie Gleason Theater, the Convention Center, and/or other City Property, as requested by the City Manager, at the sole cost and expense of the operator.
Performance Security: The successful Firm shall provide either a Performance Bond, or an Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of $10,000, prior to the execution of this Contract. The Performance Security shall be in effect upon the execution of the contract and valid for the duration of the Contract. Also, the successful Firm shall provide evidence of required insurance within fifteen (15) calendar days after notification of award of the Contract. A PERSONAL CHECK OR A COMPANY CHECK OF A BIDDER SHALL NOT BE DEEMED A VALID PERFORMANCE SECURITY.
A Pre-RFP Submission Conference is scheduled for August 6, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the following address: City of Miami Beach, City Hall, First Floor Conference Room, 1700 Convention Center Drive, Miami Beach, Florida. Attendance at the aforementioned pre-RFP submission meeting is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged as a source of important information.
