Summary of Specifications:
The study shall evaluate the existing separate local and regional systems, determine future needs of the region, and formulate an implementation strategy for the successful completion of the ATMS. The definition of the region as it relates to the project is the metropolitan boundaries of the Florida-Alabama Transportation Planning Organization (TPO). The ATMS shall incorporate various Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) methodologies in conformance with the national, statewide, and regional architecture.
