AUTOMATED EXIT LANES
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Pensacola International Airport desires to procure two (2), 24-foot long, 3-Door, pedestrian exit lane breach control corridors (ELBC) in accordance with the provided specifications. The project will require the Contractor to provide turnkey installation of the automated exit lanes. In addition to providing the ELBC, the Contractor will be responsible for select drywall removal, raising the header located above the existing automatic sliding doors 5-inches, expanding the door frame opening 8-inches, connecting circuits from the former automatic sliding doors and automatic bifold doors to the ELBC, installing brake metal trim, drywall repair, painting, and other necessary finish work in accordance with the installation plans. Floor tiling to be performed by others will be completed outside the scope of this project. A floor to ceiling wall will be constructed by others outside the scope of this project to protect the construction area. Lockable Swing doors will be provided to the Contractor to allow construction access. The Contractor shall secure the doors via lock and key a copy of which will be held by the Airport while construction is ongoing. When construction is active, the doors must be secured or staffed to prevent inadvertent entry of passengers into the construction area. When construction is not occurring, the door will be secured with a lock and key. No restrictions will be placed on Contractor working hours.
