The City of Brooksville is seeking bids from qualified engineers for a floodplain model study. The project aims to address 24-hr, 100-year stormwater floodplain modeling utilizing LIDAR base data from SWFWMD. The project will include an analysis of the defined area provided in Article III.
The watershed data is available for download on SWFWMD ShareFile site (link below), which includes GIS data for each project, DTMs, models, reports, and other supporting materials. To help you identify the relevant watershed for your area of interest, I’ve provided a link to the floodplain map viewer below. This will guide you in selecting the correct dataset to download from the ShareFile site.

Final product will be a digital and two mylar prints (1”=200’) of the subject site depicting the flood information . A proposed timeline for preparation of the study shall be submitted.
Engineers shall submit a signed statement on business letterhead stating that they have not had a business relationship with Coastal Engineering in Brooksville, FL or NVR, Inc./ Ryan Homes for a period of not less than five (5) years.
