Description

The City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida (City) is seeking bids from qualified bidders, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, to provide construction services for the City's Transportation & Mobility Department, in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Invitation To Bid (ITB).

This Invitation to Bid (ITB) applies to (2) two separate locations, with similar scopes of work. The locations are Venice Parking Lot (V-Lot) at 248 SE 13th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301 and Pelican Parking Lot (P-Lot) at 248 SE 15th Avenue. Both locations consist of the construction of the infrastructure site work.

The work to be accomplished under this contract includes, but is not limited to, site preparation, earthwork, asphalt pavement installation, pavement markings installation, signage installation, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk construction, landscape restoration and irrigation.

The Procurement Services Division has “GONE LIVE” with a new supplier registration and strategic sourcing system.
The Procurement Services Division has implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The ERP System is INFOR. As an enterprise system, one of the various modules is the Supplier Portal.
The Supplier Portal is the gateway that allows for the City and Suppliers to connect and conduct business. The Supplier Portal is a one-stop electronic commerce exchange enabling suppliers interested in conducting business with the City to register as a supplier, respond to sourcing events/solicitations, and update their supplier information at any time.

***NOTE***

The introduction of this new platform results in the City of Fort Lauderdale no longer using BidSync. All current and future suppliers must now register in INFOR to receive electronic notifications of sourcing events/solicitations, such as an informal quote, Invitation to Bid, Request for Proposals, or Request for Qualifications. All current and new suppliers must register in the Infor system immediately.
