Description

This chemical is needed for treatment of potable water. Liquid Chlorine shall be not less than 99.5 percent pure by volume, in accordance with AWWA Specifications B301-18 or latest revision of the standard. New lead washers shall be provided with each cylinder. The Vendor shall provide ECUA with documentation of current NSF/ANSI 60 certification as well as copies of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Product Fact Sheets for the Liquid Chlorine. This information shall be submitted with the bid.

It is anticipated that the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority will require approximately 635, 150-pound cylinders per year and shall receive shipments as required on an as needed basis throughout the year. ECUA reserves the right to increase or decrease the estimated quantities as needed during the contract period.

Deliveries will be accepted between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on ECUA recognized holidays.
