RFP-072002 - General Moving Services

Summary of Specifications:
The Escambia County School District (the District) is soliciting proposals for a five-year agreement for general moving services as needed throughout the District. The District has begun a school closure and consolidation process requiring the relocation of seven schools effective for the 2007-2008 school year. The successful Bidder will be expected to meet the scheduled move and material delivery dates starting March 1 to be completed by July 15, 2007. If needed, additional school closure and consolidation may also occur during the term of this agreement. The initial term will be effective from March 1, 2007 through February 28, 2008 and renewed annually upon mutual consent and approval by the Escambia County School Board.
