Summary of Specifications:
The goal of this bid is to enter into an annual purchase agreement for specific items or groups of items. The agreement will consist of the commitment of School District business in exchange for the delivery of quality products with firm prices in a timely manner. The effect of this arrangement is to speed up the delivery process of products to our warehouse, and to establish stable prices and advance sources of supply.
SAMPLES ARE REQUESTED FOR ALL ITEMS BID even though a pre-approved brand is listed. This is being done to ensure quality of products and to obtain additional pre-approved brands. The deadline to submit samples is 4:00 PM, CST, Thursday, September 22, 2016. Samples should be brought/sent to the Purchasing Department, 75 N. Pace Boulevard, Pensacola, FL 32505. Samples should be clearly labeled “SAMPLE FOR ITB NUMBER 170304.” The District in its sole discretion reserves the right to accept or reject bids that were received without samples. Sample should be identified by bid item number and bidder product/order number. Please note that samples submitted in accordance with the above prescribed manner, and Paragraph T of General Terms and Conditions (Section II), by the due date will be evaluated prior to bid evaluation.
