Summary of Specifications:
Hernando County is soliciting fully licensed and qualified firms to submit bids for the CR 597 (Shoal Line Blvd) 12” Water Main Relocation project. The project is located on the Nature Coast of Hernando County. The project consists of, but is not limited to replacement of approx. 7800’ of 12” PVC water main. The existing 12” water main will be isolated from the system allowing the contractor to remove the old main and install the new main in the same trench. There will also be sidewalk removal and replacement along with open cut of asphalt roadway which will be removed and replaced. The successful bidder will be responsible for all permits unless stated otherwise within this document and must be licensed by Hernando County and the State of Florida to perform such work. Project Manager for this project is Ricky Leach of the Hernando County Utilities Department. Successful bidder must be licensed for this type of work and must submit a copy of such license upon award of bid. All local codes and the State of Florida ADA Code will apply. All work must be done by experienced trades. All construction shall be in accordance with the 2013 Hernando County Utilities Department Specifications Manual.
