Summary of Specifications:
Hernando County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting Vendor/Contractors active in loading, transporting, deploying and installing concrete material to support an artificial reef. This project consists of constructing an artificial reef by deploying and installing approximately 628 tons of clean concrete poles, concrete culverts, concrete inlets, concrete structure boxes and various concrete manhole sections in a minimum of three (3) patch reefs within the Bendickson Artificial Reef permitted area, Army Corps Permit SAJ-1994-00530 (IP-JED). The artificial reef materials will be placed at designated locations within the boundaries of the permitted areas as described in Exhibit “C”. The County may locate an additional deployment site within the permit area prior to the Notice to Proceed to allow maximum usage of the permitted area. *The Vendor/Contractor must complete all work specified under this contract by August 30, 2017 in order to meet the grant obligations.
