RFP-11-P02 - Child Care Center Operator - Meigs Middle School

Summary of Specifications:
The Okaloosa County School District (The District) is soliciting proposals for a qualified and licensed child care provider to be selected for a 1-year renewable lease to operate an onsite Child Care Center for Meigs Middle School located at 150 Richbourg Avenue, Shalimar, Florida 32579. The Child Care Center will have basic operating hours before and after the school day for students enrolled at Meigs Middle School. The Meigs Middle School day starts at 7:00 a.m. and ends at 1:45 p.m. The child care center hours of operation will be from 6:00 a.m. – 7:00 a.m. and from 1:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m on weekdays when school is in session. The current FY11 school year calendar is included in this RFP. The District office sets the school day calendar for the next academic year. The District reserves the right to alter educational dates due to inclement weather or other unexpected school closures. It is expected that services offered by the contractor will be in line with the schedule of the District and that the day care center will be closed on non-school days.
