1. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed container, clearly identified as Request for Proposal for Internal Accounts External Independent Auditing Services, RFP 24-02. Sealed proposals will be received until 2:00 p.m. on February 27, 2024 in the District’s Purchasing Department. The official clock for the purpose of receiving proposals is located in the District’s Purchasing Department. All proposals must be date and time stamped by the official clock. Proposals will be opened in the District’s Purchasing Department after the deadline for receiving proposals. Any proposal received in the District’s Purchasing Department after the deadline indicated above will be date and time stamped and will not be opened. It is the proposer’s responsibility to see that their proposal is properly received at the correct location prior to the deadline. Proposals by email, fax, telegram, or verbally by telephone or in person will not be accepted. RFP’s will be publicly opened. The public opening will acknowledge receipt of the proposals only, details concerning pricing or the offering will not be announced. All RFP’s submitted shall become public record upon an announcement of a recommended award or thirty days after the opening date, whichever occurs first.
