Summary of Specifications:
The School District of Okaloosa County is accepting bid proposals for Contractor Services to provide all labor, material and equipment required for Construction / Renovations to the Nursing Lab at the Okaloosa Technical College, located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. The Contractor is responsible for examining the requirements including any measurements needed to complete this project. Contractors must satisfy themselves as to the exact nature and existing conditions of work areas and requirements of specifications for extent and quality of work to be performed. Contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment required for construction / renovation services to the Nursing Lab at the Okaloosa Technical College located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Contractor services shall include but not be limited to: - Contractor shall prep existing flooring, repairing any blemishes needed to provide and install new Vinyl Plank Flooring to include cove base for all areas of the Nursing Lab with the exception of the bathroom and communication/copy room. New flooring shall be TrafficMaster Allure 6 in. x 36 in. Barnwood Luxury Vinyl Plank (or equal). - Contractor shall remove peg board in North Lab, remove all shelving in South Office (approximately 15ft. of peg board and approximately 15 ft. of shelving). Contractor is not responsible for replacing the peg board and shelving. Contractor shall prep and paint all interior walls with a Semi-gloss Latex paint (up to three (3) choice colors will be selected by owner upon award of bid unless otherwise specified). Contractor shall paint areas to have sufficient coverage. Sufficient coverage shall be defined as: painted areas adequately covered with a neat and fresh painted appearance where no caulking, sanding, repairing of holes, nicks, peeling paint, stains wall paper removal are noticeable and no other colors are bleeding through. - Contractor shall cut into block wall to install two (2) new doors with window lites, closures, accessible hardware, and locksets. 3.0 code proper doors. Openings cased in with frame. The two (2) new doors will need to lock. Contractor shall paint doors with sufficient coverage (color of doors will be selected by owner upon award of bid unless otherwise specified). One opening of doors lines up with room on North side of lab.
