Summary of Specifications:
The School District of Okaloosa County (District) is accepting bid proposals to provide all labor, material, and equipment required for the procurement, delivery and installation of one (1) walk-in freezer to be placed outdoors at Elliott Point Elementary School, located at 301 Hughes Avenue, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548. A concrete pad exists on the outdoor site. The current walk-in freezer will be removed by the District prior to delivery and installation of new structure. The walk-in structure must meet the 140 mph wind load and impact design criteria for the wind borne debris. The bidder shall adhere to all requirements, specifications and special conditions stated in the bid package. The bidder shall be qualified and insured to conduct the work as a Certified or Registered General or Building Contractor and subcontract with a Certified or Registered Mechanical Contractor or themselves hold a Certified or Registered Mechanical Contractors license in accordance with the Florida state statue. Any questions related to these requirements will need to be addressed prior to the question deadline for this bid as stated on page 10 of the bid package.
