RFP-01-17 - Non-Exclusive Operation of Food and Beverage Concession

Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa County (the “County”) currently leases to First Class Perks, LLC, a restaurant operation consisting of a main restaurant/bar/kitchen and a concourse kiosk at the Destin-Ft. Walton Beach Airport (the “Airport”) in the Airport Terminal Building (the “Terminal”). Both current venues operate in the Terminal under a single concession agreement, which will terminate in February 2017. One or more additional concessions for food and beverage currently are not part of this RFP. Respondents shall include in their proposals a timeline for commencement of service for the respective concession areas. The County encourages respondents to propose the soonest start date as is feasible and the location of potential temporary venues during that transition in their proposals. It is the goal of the County to operate and maintain concession facilities and services at the Airport that are of first-class quality. It is the County's objective to make available high quality products, efficient service, and reasonable prices. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is to solicit proposals for operation of two venues and vending including the restaurant and kiosk Shop in accordance with the specifications set forth in this document.
