Summary of Specifications:
• Provide personnel to prepare and conduct feeding of EOC personnel working in the disaster area • Provide all food stocks and drinks • Must be capable of conducting feeding operations within 24 hours of contract activation. • Breakfast and dinner must be a hot meal; lunch may be a cold meal. • Provide at a minimum; Breakfast (6am), Lunch (11am), and Dinner meal (5pm). o Food must be high quality o Must include gluten free and vegetarian selections o Must include religious preference food selections if pre-identified by the county 24 hours prior to the meal o Drink selections shall include coffee, tea (Sweet and unsweetened), water, Gatorade/PowerAde, fruit juice • Provide a snack for overnight shift at midnight comprised of fresh fruit, fruit juice, water, and coffee; packages of snack foods such as granola bars, cereal bars, dried fruit, or nuts. • Provide meals to feed approximately 235 personnel per meal per day for a level 1 EOC activation. (These numbers may increase or decrease based on the event.) • Provide meals to feed up to approximately 100 personnel per meal per day for a level 2 activation. (These numbers may increase or decrease based on the event.)
FIELD FEEDING REQUIREMENTS Provide three (3) semi-trailer mounted kitchens and personnel to operate each trailer. Trailers shall be capable of conducting operations within 24 hours of contract activation. Must be capable of feeding approximately 235 workers per meal each day of operation in northern Okaloosa County. Must be capable of feeding approximately 501 workers per meal each day of operation in southern Okaloosa County. These numbers may increase or decrease based on the event. In the northern section of Okaloosa County, one (1) trailer will be located at the Public Works Yard, 1759 S. Ferdon Boulevard, Crestview Florida. Two (2) trailers will be located in the southern portion of Okaloosa County. One (1) trailer will be located at the Okaloosa County EOC, 90 College Blvd East, Niceville Florida. The second trailer will be located at the Okaloosa County Administration Building, 1250 N. Lunch must be ready for pickup by 10:30am each day. Dinner meal is required to be ready for pickup by 4:30 pm each day of operations. Breakfast meal shall consist of fruit, cereal/granola bars, milk, juice and coffee. Lunch shall consist of a sub sandwich with condiments available in packets, fruit/raw vegetables, chips, water or soft drink. Vendor shall coordinate with ESF-11 to determine the number of meals required in the EOC and at each field location for each day of operation. Coordination shall be done at least 12 hours prior to the next day of operations.
