Summary of Specifications:
The Work to be performed shall include the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, transportation, supplies, equipment and appurtenances necessary for the complete and satisfactory construction of the State Road 85 Beautification Project in Okaloosa County, Florida. The Work shall include, but is not limited to, constructing landscape design of State Road 65, from 690’ North of the median end of Loblolly Drive to 795’ South of the mean end at Sunset Boulevard. Proposed planting are also subject to change during construction based on availability, and are subject to FDOT approval. Work included under this contract shall include all labor, permits and materials required for performing all Work necessary to complete the construction the State Road 85 Beautification Project. A. Irrigation: Addition of new underground, automated, irrigation system with pump and well water source. The system will service the above referenced project area with drip tubing and spray heads on plant materials. This includes directional boring under Highway 85 approximately (4) four times with standard casing for water and electrical lines. B. Landscape: A total of (22) twenty-two landscape beds are designed for the shoulder and the median of Highway 85 from 690’ North of the median end at Loblolly Drive to 795’ South of the median end at Sunset Boulevard.
