RFB-Chip Seal Trmt - Single Surface (Chip Seal) Treatment of Approx 87,100 sq yd. road

Summary of Specifications:
1.0 SCOPE OF WORK 

1.1 The primary work consists of furnishing and applying a single application of bituminous surface treatment and the maintenance of traffic in accordance with these specifications and in substantial conformance with the limits established by Okaloosa County Public Works. 

1.2 The contractor will supply all material including but not limited to aggregate and emulsion. The contractor will also be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, fuel, traffic control, the placement of signs, residence notification, sweeping, construction and application procedures required for surface treatments. 

1.3 The area to be treated consists of approximately 56,000 square yards on Griffith Mill Road in west central Okaloosa County and approximately 31,000 square yards on Old River Road in north central Okaloosa County. The exact limits of treatment will be specified by Okaloosa County Public Works. Location maps are attached.
