RFB-18-12 - Skycap & Wheelchair Services for NW Florida Regional Airport

Summary of Specifications:
SECTION 1 - SCOPE OF SERVICES 

a. Baggage Services – Greet departing passengers at the terminal curb to determine if they wish assistance with their baggage. In the event the passenger desires assistance, load luggage on the appropriate cart and transport it from the curb to the appropriate airlines ticket counter for processing. No curbside “check-in” services are provided. 

b. Wheelchair Services – When notified by passengers or airlines, assist passengers who require transport to and from the curb to their airline ticket counter or gate. Those submitting bids are encouraged to explore methods to leverage the personnel to be able to provide the most “wheel chair” and escort services while minimizing the impact on Baggage Services. 

c. Security Escort Services – At times it is necessary to escort individuals to areas on the airport that requires security badges. Further, at times of special events or in cases of emergencies personnel may be assigned other collateral duties. Training will be provided outlining the specific responsibilities associated with these functions.
