Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa Gas District (the “District”) is requesting proposals from qualified firms interested in providing Institutional Brokerage Services for the District’s investment portfolio to maximize yield while ensuring liquidity and preservation of principal. The District desires to contract for services from a firm registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the Investment Company Act of 1940 who will serve in a fiduciary capacity for the District and present performance numbers in accordance with the Association for Investment Management Research “AIMR” (CFA Institute). The Firm will be required to recommend investment management, investment selection and disposition in accordance with the District’s adopted investment policy and the laws promulgated by the State of Florida. It is the District’s intent for the principal to be constantly reinvested utilizing nationally recognized performance benchmarks for short, medium and long term portfolios.The District intends to issue a single contract to a firm to provide local investment advisory services to the District. The contract will be for one year, with the option to renew for additional one-year periods.
