Summary of Specifications:
Okaloosa Gas District is seeking a qualified firm for the construction of a 10 inch steel natural gas pipeline in Walton County, Florida. Specifications and drawings related to this solicitation must be picked up from the office of the Vice President of Operations, Okaloosa Gas District, at 364 Valparaiso Parkway (Highway 190), Valparaiso, Florida 32580. A $50.00 deposit is required for each set of specifications and drawings to be reimbursed after award of the bid and return of specifications and drawings in good order. All bids shall conform as specified in the proposal. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the scheduled time for receiving bids, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect. Upon award, the winning bidder must present a performance bond within 5 days to the District as specified in the solicitation. Okaloosa Gas District reserves the right to reject any part, and/or all bids, to waive any formalities, and to award the bid in part or in any manner which the District determines to be in its best interest.
