Description

The Santa Rosa County School Board, Milton Florida, is seeking to have
automated access gates installed at various District sites. The below is a
brief description of the desired products, services and locations for design-build and install:

Install automated controllers for gates (sliding and swinging) with the following:
1. Minimum capabilities:
  1. Accessible by:
    1. Key pad
    2. Fob/Proximity Reader
    3. Garage door type remote control
  2. Capable of setting schedules
  3. Automated exit loop sensor at gate exit
  4. Redundant control systems in case of device or power failure
  5. Allow access for emergency responders
2. Possible additional capabilities:
  1. Remote access
  2. Intercom between the key pad and interior location
Modify, repair or replace existing gates to accommodate automated controllers
Install and connect electrical and communications cabling between the gate operators and the school building.
1. Communications connections to the Districts network must either be made through a wireless or fiber optic connection.
Install additional fencing to match existing perimeter security fencing as required to maintain or improve site security. If there is no existing fencing, the new fencing should be six (6) feet tall and chain-link fence fabric.
Visually identify and mark “clear zones” for unimpeded operation of the automated gates

6. Holley-Navarre Intermediate School, 1936 Navarre School Rd, Navarre FL 32566

The Pre-Bid meeting will begin at the Purchasing Department, 6544 Firehouse
Rd, Milton, Florida 32570 and then continue with site visits to each of the
project locations. Site visits outside this date and the times listed in the Pre-Bid
Meeting Schedule of Events document are not authorized. Contractors must
attend the meeting beginning at 6544 Firehouse Rd, Milton, Florida 32570
before being permitted to attend the project site visits. Once the meeting has
concluded at the Purchasing Department and as a group, the site visits will
proceed in the following order:
