The purpose of this notice is for market research purposes only and to make appropriate acquisition decisions to gain knowledge of potential qualified businesses and their Small Business Administration (SBA) size classification in relation to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 335932, Noncurrent-Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Orlando VA Healthcare System, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 8, located at 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, Florida, 32827. seeks interested sources to provide 80 Desk Power and Data Poles. Interested and Qualified Vendors should be capable of providing the following; Desk power data poles - freestanding power and data management units designed for an office's future environment. Â Must include: Pole telescopes accommodate ceilings between 8' and 12' high and support wiring for up to four 20-amp power runs and up to 16 Ethernet data cable runs (with Ethernet/data pass-through capability). Must have two Short Rail width rail ranges: The Short Rail telescopes from 16.75" to accommodate desktops that are 38" to 51" wide. Power outlets (minimum of 2 standard AC Outlets and 2 Ethernet) The telescoping vertical pole shall conceal and distribute power and data connections from the ceiling to the Power and Data Rail, supporting workstations. The Power & Data Pole can be added in any configuration of the Power & Data Rail system and joined to a rail in multiple ways: Single pole with power/data rail or multiple power/data rails fed in multiple directions. Power/data rail or multiple power/data lines in multiple directions, fed from a floor power supply or a ceiling power supply via a pole. Shall be able to adjust post height that doesn t interfere with desks or accessories like monitor arms. Poles and rail system shall use a modular power system. All electrical components for the furniture system shall be hardwired connections. The Hardwired electrical supply in the wall, floor, and power pole shall be able to power up to 16 desks with one power infeed for up to four 20-amp circuits (assuming a typical power draw of 5 amps per workstation). Parts and power connection shall be interconnectable to each other to be seating arrangements Shall be able to meet office layout changes; the Power Pole and Power/Data Rail unit shall be both scalable and flexible. The telescoping post height and rail width shall meet various office layouts and different shapes and sizes of workspaces for the future.
