The County is requesting competitive bids from firms able to provide auto body repair services on a variety of vehicles that consists of sedans, light trucks and (buses on a case-by-case repair). These varieties are basically three (3) types: Ford; General Motors; and Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep. 1. The time frame for repair to each vehicle shall be four (4) weeks or less from time of receiving vehicle, or within an acceptable time frame agreeable to the County. If the time frame is unacceptable, the County has the right to choose an alternate vendor. In the event the vehicle is not done within the agreed upon time frame, Contractor will be charged in the amount of $200.00 per week. 2. Contractor shall be responsible for the pickup and delivery of all vehicles, which will be located at 18000 Paulson Drive, Port Charlotte, Florida. Cost of same shall be at no additional charge and shall be included in the bid prices. Bidder must have proper driver license/insurance to be able to drive or transport the vehicles at bidder’s expense to and from the Fleet location.
