Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor shall provide the management, operation, and maintenance of a turn-key Contractor hosted Automated Paid Parking Services (AMPPS) solution accepting credit and debit cards via mobile payment application, Quick Response (QR) code, near-field communications (NFC), text to pay, and kiosks at all on and off-street parking locations as designated by the County. There are currently 2,388 designated parking spaces across 65 parking locations, with additional spaces and locations under construction that may be deployed. The County reserves the right to add or subtract as many on-street spaces as the County sees fit. The Contractor shall be equipped to operate all paid parking locations at the service level required to provide excellent customer service. Although this scope of work does not include the revenue collections for vehicular beach access fee collection within the county, they, with this proposal, would like to see how this addition would fit in the VBAPCS with the understanding that the implementation and operation of these two systems shall be closely linked and interoperable including, but not limited to, sharing of vehicle data between systems such that a resident may register once and be known in the vehicular beach access payment collection services and the off-beach parking systems.
