Specifications include, but are not limited to: Provide bicycle, electric bike*, tricycle, children’s bike trailer and seat, and safety gear (hereinafter “Equipment”) concessionaire rental service at the City owned bike and pedestrian trailhead locations listed in 2.9. Provide one helmet of a proper size and that meets the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets found in 16 CFR Part 1203, at no additional cost to customer, for each rental of a bicycle, electric bicycle, tricycle, children’s bike trailer or children’s bike seat unless customer provides their own helmets. Concessionaire may also provide prepacked food, water, and non-alcoholic beverages with preapproval from the City of Kissimmee. Concessionaire shall not provide any type of scooter, for rent. Electric and motorized scooters are prohibited in city parks. *The use of motorized bicycles within City Parks currently violates City Ordinance. This ordinance is under review and if the City decides to allow the use of electric bikes within City Parks, the renting of electric bikes will become permissible under the selected bidder’s license.
