The renovation project will include, but is not limited to, the following specifications: 1. TERMITE TREATMENT SERVICES (TENTING): The building is a wooden structure built in 1938. Given the construction type and age, this project will require termite tenting. 2. STRUCTURAL IMPROVEMENTS: • Assess and repair the foundation, if necessary, ensuring compliance with the latest Florida Building Code. • Reinforce or replace any compromised structural framing in accordance with applicable standards. • Remove and replace the metal roof. Any deteriorated wood is to be replaced to include all new screws for metal. Reflash the chimney to ensure the cap on the chimney is waterproof. • Rebuild all three decks to include stairs and a handicap ramp on the (south) right side of structure, and the two porch covers to match existing. 3. INTERIOR RENOVATIONS: • Install a total of R 30 insulation in attic. • Remove all floor covering, replace with VCT, replace any rotten wood once covering is removed. Bid to include installation of painted quarter round over new vinyl.
