Lake County Schools has an immediate need for Electrical Trainer Systems to train students for a potential career path in electricity. The system will provide a more authentic hands-on training and teaching platform that is not simulated or software based. Innotek Electrical Trainer Systems is a product that provides a customizable and mobile solution to provide the required training for Lake County Schools’ students. It also offers the training experience that is required in our Electricity Programs within the district. Innotek’s system have safety features along with diagnostics for student learning and will provide students with the hands-on experience and experiments needed to develop troubleshooting skills and learning from their mistakes along the way. The system will provide students with real world experience and sufficiently prepare them to launch their careers in the electricity field. These trainers address industry standard tasks and procedures which meet the state curriculum framework and industry exam standards. Lake County Schools will be procuring various systems to include Fire Alarm, Low Voltage Security, Lockout Tag Out, Basic Electrical Wiring, and Residential Wiring Table Trainers.
