Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Specifications include, but are not limited to: FDC is seeking a vendor to provide a biometric entry and exit management system to manage the entry and exit of inmates, staff, visitors, and contractors at seven (7) privately-operated correctional facilities. The system shall include biometric scanners, USB cables, DataWorks Plus Edge software, a two (2) year initial warranty with 24/7 support, a three (3) year extended warranty which includes 24/7 support, delivery and installation, operator training and project management services, and a customized response screen. DataWorks Plus, LLC is the vendor that currently provides the entry and exit management system utilized at the Department-operated correctional institutions throughout the State. On October 1, 2023, the seven (7) privately-operated correctional facilities contracts were reassigned from the Florida Department of Management Services to the FDC. For continuity of operations and security, the Department needs the same entry and exit management system at all institutions and facilities under its jurisdiction.
