The Contractor shall safely and professionally transport all vehicles on car hauling trailers/open car carrier trailers capable of hauling multiple vehicles (up to 7) at once as requested by the Department, and shall complete the following tasks and deliverables for the transportation services required under the contract: A. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials and equipment needed for successful completion of the following requirements. The cost shall include all labor, transportation of the vehicles, and all necessary equipment. B. The Contractor will pick up vehicles from FHP Central Installation Facility (CIF) or other location on an as needed basis and transport them on car hauling trailers/open car carrier trailers to the designated location(s). The vehicles are only to be driven during loading and unloading. Upon completion of work, the vehicles will be returned to the CIF or other location(s) depending upon Department needs. C. The Department may request transportation of Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles or Armored vehicles (Bearcat) for emergency response throughout the state of Florida on a low-boy hauler or other carrier/trailer as needed. The Contractor shall prioritize FHP requests for transportation of these vehicles during emergency situations. D. The Contractor shall be in compliance with federal and state laws, rules and regulations and possess all mandatory license(s), permit(s) and certification(s) required to complete the services under this Contract. E. The Contractor will assume full liability and responsibility for all vehicles, and their contents, placed in its custody by FHP under this contract.
