Custom fabrication of initially four (4), dozer transport bodies on M2 Freightliner Cab Chassis or equivalent. BED SPECIFICATIONS 3.1. Welding 3.1.1. Welds shall meet American Welding Society Standards (AWS). Welds on the top and outer sides of the body and miscellaneous equipment shall be ground flush. 3.1.2. All welds to be made using uphill progression. 3.1.3. Use flux core wire for all welds. 3.1.4. Vendor to clean off all splatter from welds before painting any part. 3.2. Fabrication 3.2.1. See Appendix A (Attached separately in Advertisement) for Drawings and Cut Sheets for fabrication of bed, dovetail, and ramps. 3.2.2. Prepare, prime and paint bed assembly black. 3.2.3. Install fuse block, fuses, and wiring to operate lights and hydraulic motor. 3.2.4. Install taillights, back-up lights, side marker lights and reflectors per F.S. 316.2225. Appendix B. 3.2.5. Install hydraulic pump with 12V motor and 3.5”B X 24”S cylinders including all necessary wiring, hoses, and fittings to operate ramps. Install ramp chains.
