The Notice of Intent to Lease the CRA-owned Property at 802 N Massachusetts Ave is limited to commercial uses. All uses must be permitted within the Midtown Redevelopment Plan and the City of Lakeland’s Land Development Code. The CRA is seeking commercial business that demonstrate best use of space by maximizing days/hours of operation, activation of both indoor/outdoor spaces, and inclusion of customer and/or user experiences. Applicant Criteria • Business entity in operation for minimum of 2 years as of the date of submission of application • Principals only • Business entities can only submit one application Ineligible Business Types Pursuant to the goals of the CRA and the City of Lakeland, the following business types/uses are ineligible and will not be considered: • Religious institutions or organizations • Non-profit organizations • Adult entertainment establishments • Adult gaming centers • Alcohol/tobacco retailers (package sales for consumption off-premises) • Firearms and weapons; fireworks retailers • CBD Oil Establishments, Medical marijuana treatment centers or dispensing facilities • Any business which is a non-conforming use as determined by the City of Lakeland
