Specifications include, but are not limited to: The FDC is seeking to purchase a proprietary training curriculum that provides staff training and access to course-specific manuals that directly correlate to the "7 Habits on the Inside" program. Franklin Covey will train FDC staff, and FDC staff will facilitate the program for the FDC inmates. This program has proven to increase the positive behavior of inmates and improve the communication skills of its participants. The Department will benefit from this program by restructuring an inmate's thought process and mental framework by providing a structured mentoring program that reduces recidivism and increases the positive interaction between staff and the inmate population.
