Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.02 PROJECT DESCRIPTION The successful Proposer (hereinafter in this scope referred to as Consultant) shall provide all labor equipment and materials to perform construction phase geotechnical engineering and soils and materials testing services for the project listed above in Article 1.01. The project consists of: • Installation of watermain and forcemain. • Connection of water services to resident homes. • Concrete restoration. • Asphalt restoration, Asphalt Paving. • Grouting out-of-service watermain and forcemain. 1.03 SCOPE OF SERVICES The expected scope of service from the consultant should include, but not be limited to: • Field Construction Services: o Field Density of Soil and aggregate using the nuclear method o Plasticity testing of the concrete o Casting specimens of concrete for laboratory testing o Asphalt sampling for both Marshall and Superpave mixes. • Laboratory testing o Associated soil classification testing for suitability o Moisture-Density testing of soil and aggregate using the Modified Proctor o Compressive Strength testing of concrete specimens o Extraction and Gradation testing or asphalt mixes.
