The Lakeland Police Department seeks bids from qualified vendors for the supply and delivery of highquality, durable, and functional uniforms. This bid aims to standardize the appearance of our officers, ensuring they meet professional and safety standards while fostering a unified and authoritative presence in the community. Our uniforms are manufacturer, style, and color specific. The successful vendor must meet or exceed the standards set in the scope of work. Approved Manufacturers: o Blauer o Blackington (Badges, Flex badges, Name Plates, Unit rockers, Service Since Rockers, Collar Brass) o Midway Cap – Uniform Dress Hat 2. Customization Requirements: o Vendors must handle customized requirements for Honor Guard uniforms o Vendor must be able do screen printing, embroidery, and alterations of product prior to shipping. If not included in the bid price for these items, it must be listed in the bid. o Uniforms must conform to LPD specifications for patches, badges, lettering, fonts, and colors. Department will provide a template if needed. o Items not meeting specifications will be returned and must be corrected at the vendor’s expense. o The colors for department uniforms are traditionally Midnight Navy. Some specialty uniform shirts (long and short sleeve) are white. The successful vendor must be able to supply the required uniform in the agency’s current colors.
