Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Metropolitan Ministries, Inc., in the amount of $391,666.91, for a three (3) year term for Catered Meals; Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snacks, to Head Start/Early Head Start students residing on site. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208[37] of the County’s Procurement Policy as a sole source because the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners and Metropolitan Ministries, Inc., currently has an agreement for leased classroom space. Metropolitan Ministries, Inc., is the sole provider of catered meals utilizing their on-site commercial kitchen as outside catering is prohibited at the facility. In addition, Metropolitan Ministries, Inc., provide menus and food services in accordance with the State of Florida Child Care Food Program (CCFP). The County reserves the right to extend the time period further, adjust the scope of services in response to changing conditions and updated requirements, and increase the resulting award accordingly.
