Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Nassau County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is seeking bids from qualified vendors to make repairs and replacements to driveways and ditches; 1. Remove and Replace 7 driveways on Old Dixie Highway (Hilliard); appropriately sized ERCP to the provided elevations in Accordance with attached sketches. All driveways must have poured concrete Mitered-End Section. 2. Regrade and re-align ditches with positive flow. Ditches must be prepped for hydro-seeding. There will be a need for Imported fill. The culvert elevations will be raised between 6 inches up to 1 foot (See drawings) and the flowline of the ditches must match and provide positive flow for storm water run-off. The imported fill must be clean and free of debris. 3. The finished driveway must be paved with Hot Mix Asphalt in accordance with Nassau County Standards 4. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the maintenance of traffic (MOT) at all times during its performance of this Agreement. MOT shall be performed in accordance with applicable Governmental Law and the most current edition of each of the following, as the same may be constituted and amended from time to time, all of which are incorporated herein and made part of the Agreement by reference: (1) Section 102 of the Florida Department of Transportation's (FOOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. 5. The successful bidder shall utilize the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify system, in accordance with the terms governing use of the system, to confirm the employment eligibility of: (A) all persons employed by the Agency during the term of the Agreement to perform employment duties within Florida; and (B) all persons, including subcontractors, assigned by the agency to perform work pursuant to the Agreement with the Department.
