• Complete all the required paperwork for WCFR to participate in the PEMT Program. • Be familiar with the PEMT Program in the State of Florida and the rules, regulations and requirements associated with the PEMT Program. Have the knowledge, skills, and ability to fully complete the required cost reports to the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) within the time frame prescribed by the AHCA. Have knowledge of the data and cost reporting principles specified in Chapter 40 I, Florida Statutes. • Has in-depth knowledge and experience working with fire departments and ambulance service providers to identify reimbursable costs and to complete or facilitate the completion of the required annual cost report. • Be familiar with the Managed Care program in the State of Florida and the rules, regulations, and managed care reporting requirements. Monitor claims and cash flows of Managed Care program to ensure Wakulla County Fire Rescue receives appropriate benefit from the program and has met documentation needs. • Provide a full-service delivery model, including the use of a web-based solution. Including an online EMS cost reporting system, which is utilized for data aggregation, comprehensive compliance reviews, automated edits checks, and advanced reporting. • Prefer to have an established relationship with the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). • Provides full support to a provider throughout the cost reporting process, and all state and federal audits.
