Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Lakeland (“City”) intends to select one (1) qualified Firm to supply high quality food and beverage services (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) at Lakeland Linder International Airport. Located presecurity, the available 4,322 square foot restaurant space (approximate) is accessible without the need to process through the Transportation Security Administration’s (TSA) Screening Checkpoint allowing all tenants, users, guest, at large community, and the traveling public to access the space. The selected Firm shall maintain all required federal, state, and local licenses, permits, and certifications necessary to provide high quality food and beverage services (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). Services provided shall be professional and expeditious with appropriate consideration for the time limits often imposed on the traveling public. Consideration should also be given to changing airline schedules so that food and beverage services can be provided to a majority of airline patrons. Firm shall provide at least two (2) meals a day six (6) days a week. If there are scheduled passenger air carrier operations occurring, Firm shall provide lunch that day. Firm will be required to provide all equipment (stoves, ovens, friers, tables, chairs, napkins, cooking implements, storage containers, utensils, glasses, carts, waste baskets, etc…) required to operate the restaurant. Due to the start-up nature of this business, the selected Firm will be provided a rent credit equal to the amount of the first year’s base rent.
