The County is seeking a Contractor to provide the following: A. Steel grating shall be Irving Type "V" decking, Swale Inlet Type "C" and Type "D". B. Cast iron grating to be Swale Inlet Type "C" in substantial conformance with the U.S. Foundry. C. Cast iron grating to be Swale Inlet Type "E" in substantial conformance with the U.S. Foundry. D. All grating to be in conformance with applicable Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Design Standards: http://www.fdot.gov/roadway/DS/18/IDx/00232.pdf . ESTIMATED QUANTITIES: The exact quantities of the required steel and cast-iron swale inlet grating for this quote cannot be determined at this time. Charlotte County anticipates purchasing approximately 100 swale inlet grating annually. These amounts are given for Quoter's guidance only; no minimum amount is guaranteed or implied.
