Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Establish and coordinate the Title I ESES for eligible students enrolled in participating nonpublic schools that have selected the proposer as their service provider. The coordination of services include: ensuring appropriate staff credentials; p r o v i d i n g a teacher/student ratio no greater than 1:6 and with a grade span no greater than three (3) grades within each tutoring group; establishing program goals and objectives; administering a district-approved pre- and posttest assessment, conducting continuous monitoring of services and program evaluation; conducting tutor consultation and supervision; providing professional development and/or coaching for teachers of eligible students at the participating non-public school; and conducting parental involvement activities for the families of eligible students at the non-public school.; B. Provide tutors and/or counselors with appropriate credentials, including substitute tutors and/or counselors as needed, at each participating non-public school with the responsibility for planning, administering, and assessing a customized supplementary instructional program in l a n g u a g e a r t s /reading, mathematics, science, social studies and/or counseling services for eligible students. Tutors and counselors hired by the provider cannot engage in team teaching or other cooperative instructional and/or counseling activities with p a r t i c i p a t i n g non-public school personnel and cannot introduce or promote any religious matter into the instruction and/or counseling or become involved in the religious activities of the participating non-public school.; C. Provide instructional materials t o b e used in the supplementary instructional program and ensure that they are current and appropriate for the instructional levels and academic needs of participating students. Note: The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida, will hold title and ownership of all nonconsumable supplies, materials and equipment purchased by the district with Title I funds and in consultation with the non-public school, including but not limited to, those purchased to fulfill contractual obligations listed as part of this proposal and subsequent contractual agreement. An inventory of all supplies, materials and equipment purchased with Title I funds by the district shall be maintained at each non-public school and shall be available to M- DCPS upon request.; D. Provide a description of proposed professional development sessions, as part of a month-bymonth calendar of activities, t hat comply with Title I regulations. Specific training topics must be provided as part of the month- by-month calendar of activities.; E. Provide parental engagement activities that unite families and schools; focus on family learning events; encourage parent-teacher conferences; provide discipline techniques; and show parents how to help their children with homework. Provide parental communications in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.
